Today, we take care of immigration and relocation matters and hold intercultural training for our international clients and Austrian companies.

A Family, who was moving from Australia to Austria, had a lot to take care of: from residence permits to organizing their daily life from scratch. Recom took care of these in advance: our lawyer submitted the application for a residence permit as they were still back in Australia. We had an orientation talk and explained everything around schooling & housing, so that the first steps are clear. The process went smoothly and the family was all settled in a couple of months after arrival. The flat we found for them was spacious and close to work and school, the area was green and quiet, and the kids felt great at the international school.

A student from Nigeria, who got accepted at a university in Vienna, did not have any idea how to handle student and work permits for Austria. After our first zoom call, they had a clear vision of steps to do and started collecting all the documents with us on their side. After checking all the papers and filling in the forms, we were sure that the application at the embassy goes effortlessly and we can welcome the student in Vienna soon.

Experience is a solid basis for our company. In 1999, Angelika Brenner-Cecerle und Martine Pey founded recom relocation company based on their own know-how and experiences of what it’s like to live and work abroad.

Martine Pey arrived in Vienna in the early 1990s as foreign exchange student – and stayed. “Back then I needed a residency permit. Not only was the bureaucratic process exhausting but looking for a home was an adventure,” the French co-founder remembers. After her study, she started an international corporate career and passed on her experiences of how to settle-in in Vienna on to others. ”Even top managers were dependent on the goodwill of their colleagues,” Pey says.

Martine Pey & Angelika Brenner-Cecerle recognised the need for such services and set-up recom relocation company which since then has helped companies to bring their top executives and specialists to Austria.

Angelika Brenner-Cecerle took over the area of customer relationship. “As an Austrian, this was reserved for me”, she says with a knowing smile.

Angelika Brenner-Cecerle and Martine Pey are still leading the company with enthusiasm and commitment and are proud of their 20 years experience and their loyal clients.
